Mira — Privacy

Last updated 2 September 2026

Mira has no account and no server of its own. The day you describe, the number it produces and everything it reads from Health and Screen Time are written to your iPhone and stay there.

What stays on your phone, always

None of it is transmitted. There is nowhere for it to go: Mira has no backend, and it will not gain one. It travels in your encrypted iPhone backup and arrives on a new phone with it.

What Mira never reads

Your weight, your body measurements, your BMI — Mira does not ask Health for permission to read them, so it could not read them even by mistake. It does not look at your face, and it never scores your appearance. It does not use your location. The number measures the distance between two days, never you.

What does leave your phone

One thing: the subscription. Apple takes the payment, and RevenueCat tells the app whether it is active. That exchange carries a random identifier, the product bought and the country of your App Store account. It carries nothing you wrote and nothing from Health or Screen Time.

There is no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK and no crash reporter in the app.

The waiting list on this site

If you gave your email address on this page before the app existed, it is stored with the date, your country and which link brought you here, and is used once — to tell you Mira is out. Reply to that email, or write to hello@studiovolta.space, and it is deleted. This page also uses the TikTok Pixel to measure whether the ads work; you can opt out in your TikTok settings. The app itself contains none of this.

Children

Mira is written for adults, for their own devices, and asks for Screen Time access with the individual authorisation — the one that watches your own phone, for you. It has no parent mode, no pairing and no way to observe anybody else.

Deleting everything

Delete the app. Everything it kept goes with it, immediately and completely, because there is no copy anywhere else. Revoking Health or Screen Time access in iOS Settings stops the readings without touching what you wrote.

Asking

hello@studiovolta.space — a person answers.
